Mountain Creek Ranch is a premiere breeding and training ranch located in the beautiful hills of North Texas. Situated between Gainesville, Valley View and Pilot Point, in the midst of “Horse Country USA”, the ranch is convenient to I35 and DFW Airport.

Focusing on high-quality reining horse prospects. MCR currently runs over 100 head of Quarter Horse stock. Our quality broodmares are paired with major winning bloodlines.

We are proud to offer performance prospects from a select group of sires, including: Wimpys Little Step, Magnum Chick Dream, Custom Chrome, Nu Chex To Cash, Roosters Wrangler, Lil Ruf Peppy, Shining Spark, Smart Shiner, Einsteins Revolution, and others .

Comprising approximately 140 acres in the beautiful hill country of Cooke County, Texas, MCR has one of the finest facilities available. We offer a large show barn, as well as a screened mare motel. Our spacious 110x200 arena has excellent footing, and our pastures are fenced and cross-fenced with pipe and wire-mesh. All pastures offer shelter, as well.

Show Barn
Our show horses occupy a deluxe show barn, with 12x12 stalls floored with grip rubber mats. This well-equipped barn contains automatic waterers, a fly-spray system, hot/cold wash rack, tack room, bathroom facilities, and the ranch office.

Mare Motel
Breeding facilities are located in the mare motel, which is equipped with 12x12 single stalls and 12x24 foaling stalls, as well as the breeding lab, and stocks, and a breeding dummy. This barn also contains a fly-spray system, hot/cold wash rack, a tack room, and is screened against harsh weather.

Arena
Our expansive 110x200 covered arena, with footing professionally-installed by Bob Kiser, has an attached round-pen, and is lighted for evening use.

Walker
An enclosed electric hot-walker is available, for the ultimate in safety and convenience.

Trails
A scenic trail system is available for your use, offering varied terrain for recreation and training purposes.
